Mary Myers is a long time public school teacher/educator and middle-aged Mom who loves sharing her passion for the outdoors with others. She is a Kansas Hunter Education instructor who spends time kayak fishing, hunting, hiking and appreciating the outdoors whenever possible! She is a 49 year-old woman who enjoys the challenge of pulling the big catfish, crappie and bass into her kayak and recording the catch to share with others on social media. She shares in hopes of “pulling” others into the sport – especially girls and women! Her message is simple: You are never too old to learn and you are capable of teaching yourself! You do not need fancy equipment in order to catch fish. You do need a willingness to practice and fail in order to find success. Catching a fish is not a guarantee. Catching a good feeling from Mother Nature IS guaranteed though! Let's build a community of women supporting women in the outdoors!
